Jo Latham

Owner/Founder

Jo Latham discovered early on that her fascination with gemstones went far beyond their beauty.

A self-proclaimed nerd at heart, she finds endless intrigue in the mathematical precision of diamond proportions and the rich tapestry of history, science, and folklore that each stone carries. This passion led Jo to pursue formal certification through the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in 2008, where she earned credentials in diamonds, colored stones, and jewelry sales. Her technical expertise, combined with her naturally intuitive approach to understanding people, creates a unique foundation for her work.

Jo's path has been beautifully winding - from her Houston roots through Austin and Amarillo, with a transformative period in New York City where she honed her craft. Now settled in Fort Worth, she draws inspiration from art, architecture, and the diverse cultures she's encountered along the way.

What sets Jo apart is her belief that jewelry should tell a personal story. She approaches each client relationship with curiosity and careful listening, matching individuals with pieces that resonate with their unique narrative. Her love of asking questions and understanding different perspectives informs every consultation.

Beyond the boutique, Jo nurtures her analytical mind with wooden jigsaw puzzles and crossword puzzles, always embracing new experiences with her life philosophy of saying yes to opportunities. Her deep appreciation for the intersection of craftsmanship, beauty, and personal meaning guides every piece she curates for the Jo Latham clientele.
