With 25 years in the jewelry industry, Lauren Havens has built her expertise on a foundation of genuine curiosity and connection.

Her journey began unexpectedly when she was recruited from a part-time retail position while pursuing pre-med studies, leading her into a world she never imagined would become her passion.

What captivates Lauren most about jewelry is the human element - the relationships with artists who create with grit and determination, the clients who trust her to help tell their stories, and the meaningful connections formed over beautiful pieces. As Director of Business Development for Jo Latham, she specializes in helping clients build personalized jewelry collections through thoughtful layering and stacking techniques. 

Lauren’s distinctive approach stems from her belief that jewelry shouldn’t live in a box waiting for the “right occasion.” She encourages clients to embrace pieces as part of their daily rhythm, whether walking the dogs or attending a gala. Her talent lies in reading people, asking the right questions, and gently nudging them beyond their comfort zones while respecting their personal style. 

Drawing from her background as a French Horn player who loves the collaborative nature of music, Lauren brings that same spirit of harmony to her work. When she’s not curating collections or mentoring clients, she’s likely starting her day at 5 AM with a workout, ending it on her patio with her husband Jon and a glass of sauvignon blanc, or enjoying the antics of her beloved dogs, Oliver and Scout.
