Selim Mouzannar's "Fortune" Collection is a line apart in the Beirut Collection, Fortune is illustrated by a variation on the horseshoe. This symbol of luck represents the former stables of the Ottoman army in downtown Beirut. It was under these arches that at the beginning of the 20th century, the jewelers' souk, of which the Mouzannar family occupied a large part, developed.
